The hotel's decoration is absolutely charming, with its Cape Cod style and olde worlde feel. The timber floors and French doors let in plenty of sunlight, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The white wicker chairs are perfect for enjoying the beautiful views. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the general areas, with easy access to the 24-hour front desk and express check-in/check-out facilities.
I would have asked for better accessibility for senior people, such as handrails in the bathrooms and hallways. The children working there could have been more attentive to the specific needs of senior guests.

Right on the cliff looking into the open sea, for whale watching, although I was not fortunate to sight one. The immediate access to the footpath along the cliff was a real treat. The two rooms suite was large and family oriented. Wilmarie who was manning the reception desk on our arrival deserves a mention. She was friendly, smiling, very helpful to all our request, a real professional.

Fantastic hotel with amazing views from the rooms! On arrival, we were greeted with coffee and tea. The room was big, had an amazing balcony, and free sherry which was a nice touch! The hotel arranged taxis for us and dinner reservations. The breakfast was brilliant and the location was a great base to explore the city.
The customer service was non-existent. The afternoon tea was not replenished when we arrived, leaving us hungry.

The view from our suite (room 8) was brilliant. Nice room with good bed, really nice balcony overlooking the bay with sun right in the face in the morning, proper breakfast (half buffet, half a-la-carte). For us it was a suitable place to relax.
Tv in the room outdated, was not impressed by that. Nowadays you need a flat screen in a 5 star place. Unfortunately it is impossible to order something with the staff. No wine/beer/snacks at the pool except for what you bring yourself.

The position overlooking the bay and being very close to town for restaurants was perfect. Very friendly & personal service. Very good value for money - from accommodation costs to laundry and minibar costs.
